Rosetta's Floral

This one just happened! I had the flowers, a pot and an idea & threw it together on a day that was far too busy for other things.

I created this for a relative out of most of the roses from her wedding . She was married a few years ago and I've had the flowers since then trying to decide how I wanted to present them. I finally decided on the wreath idea.

I dried the flowers from my bridal bouquet and arranged it so that I could have a piece of that special day, with me. The ribbon is also from my original bouquet. The "vase," is in fact, a wine glass given to me as a set of two for a wedding gift. I filled the botton of the glass with rocks I gathered from outside my new home. That was, in fact, the best day of my life and I feel so grateful to be able to save things to treasure in years to come. Below, is a picture of the original and the new one. *** ***

********** In loving memory of Norman Emack Millsap Sr. June 20, 1935  -  October 7, 2011 I created this arrangement from some of the flowers that were  at my  grandfather's funeral. He was a lover of nature and everything that pertained to it. His life was one that touched and blessed many.  He  will be  greatly missed  by all who had the pleasure of of knowing him. I love you and miss you always, my dear grandfather. **********
